Notable Sales: Rémy Parizot
Parizot was born in 1751 in Saint-Léger-de-Frenelle in Toul, near Nancy, but worked for most of his life (from 1774) in Nantes, far to the west of France. He died there in 1830. His work is of unexceptional quality, in the early Mirecourt style, but with good, low arching and decent varnish.
