Strongly influenced by the work of Pressenda, Annibale Fagnola’s own personality began to assert itself in his work as his career progressed. This instrument is a lovely example of the fully established style of Fagnola, though clearly inspired by Pressenda. Fagnola’s reputation spread internationally from about 1910. His instruments are beautifully executed, and he consistently used materials of the highest quality. Tonally, he achieved excellent results, and today he ranks as one of the leading makers of the modern Italian school.

This instrument has a brilliant, clear and focused sound in all registers.
