A silver-mounted violin bow by Hippolyte Camille Lamy

Paris, circa 1930-35

Trained in his father’s workshop, Hippolyte Camille’s early work is very hard to distinguish from Joseph Alfred’s. From 1910 he adapted his model slightly and established a unique interpretation of his father’s model.

Unsurprisingly, it was previously owned by a concertmaster of one of Germany’s leading orchestras.
