Giuseppe Ceruti was the only son and successor of Giovanni Battista Ceruti. Giuseppe’s instruments are extremely rare as during the 1830’s and 1840’s he was not regularly involved in instrument making. The style of the violin shows a clear debt to his father. The sound is transparent and warm yet carries well.
