Lamy’s work is renowned for its delicacy and attention to detail. In his last period his focus shifted towards playability more than the aesthetics of his bows. This is not true for this example which combines both - playability and care for workmanship - beautifully. The bow has an elegant, round stick which produces a rich and colourful sound across all four strings. It is articulate and very reliable. Certainly a great asset for a professional musician with the highest demands.
