Diana Tishchenko is one of the most compelling violinists of her generation, performing on leading stages around the world. After studying at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin and the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, she won the Grand Prix at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition in 2018. Her career received a further boost through the ECHO Rising Star Award, which brought her to leading concert halls such as the Elbphilharmonie, Philharmonie de Paris, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Wiener Konzerthaus.

Her debut album Strangers in PARadISe (Warner Classics, 2019), featuring works by Maurice Ravel, Sergei Prokofiev, George Enescu, and Eugène Ysaÿe, was highly praised by international critics: BBC Music Magazine awarded it 5 stars, Gramophone praised her “genuinely distinctive voice,” and Le Figaro highlighted her remarkable artistic maturity.
Diana is deeply involved in social and cultural projects. She performed The Four Seasons with the European Union Youth Orchestra as part of the environmental project The Uncertain Four Seasons, which was broadcast live on ARTE and received the award for “Best Filmed Concert of 2022” at the Prague Film Festival. Since the outbreak of the war, she has dedicated herself to numerous charity concerts across Europe.

Among the highlights of her 2025/26 season are performances with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, appearances at the Konzerthaus Berlin alongside Iván Fischer, and concerts in Lisbon with the orchestra of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Praised for his remarkable range of colors, virtuosity, and captivating stage presence, Josef Špaček has earned acclaim for his “astonishing articulation and athleticism” (The Scotsman) and “richness and piquancy of timbre” (The Telegraph). His performances showcase technical poise and a beautiful tone across a wide repertoire.

Recent highlights include successful debuts with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Jakub Hrůša, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra with Nathalie Stutzmann, and Gewandhausorchester Leipzig with Andrew Manze. Upcoming engagements feature debuts with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Petr Popelka, London Philharmonic Orchestra with Edward Gardner, and NHK Symphony Orchestra with Jakub Hrůša. Špaček has also performed with prestigious ensembles like the Orchestre de Paris, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, and Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, collaborating with conductors such as Semyon Bychkov, Manfred Honeck, and the late Jiří Bělohlávek.

As a chamber musician, Špaček forms the Trio Zimbalist with cellist Timotheos Gavriilidis-Petrin and pianist George Xiaoyuan Fu, regularly touring the US and Europe. Their debut album of piano trios by Weinberg, Auerbach, and Dvořák earned Gramophone Magazine’s Editor’s Choice in March 2024, described as “miraculously fresh.” His recordings for Supraphon, including Martinů’s Concerto for violin, piano and orchestra with Miroslav Sekera, and the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, have received high praise from BBC Music Magazine for their virtuosic and poignant interpretations.

Špaček studied with Itzhak Perlman at The Juilliard School, Ida Kavafian and Jaime Laredo at the Curtis Institute of Music. He was a laureate of the International Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels and won top prizes at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition in New Zealand and the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition in Denmark. He served as the youngest concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra until 2020, now focusing on his solo career.

Performing on the 1732 “LeBrun; Du Seuil” Guarneri del Gesù violin, Špaček lives in Prague with his family and enjoys cycling in his spare time.

International prizewinner Larissa Cidlinsky is establishing herself as an outstanding and versatile violinist, equally in demand as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster. She completed her Konzertexamen in Weimar with distinction and performed Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto No. 1 under the baton of Vladimir Jurowski in December 2024.

From January to July 2026, she serves as First Concertmaster with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn. She has also gained experience as Assistant Concertmaster with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and Munich Philharmonic Orchestra and as a guest concertmaster with ensembles such as the Staatskapelle Weimar, the Thuringian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Altenburg Gera Philharmonic Orchestra, the Salzburg Philharmonic, the Bolzano String Academy, and the Kala Chamber Orchestra.

A passionate chamber musician, Cidlinsky has been invited to festivals including Krzyżowa Music, IMS Prussia Cove, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Rheingau Musik Festival and Kronberg Academy’s “Chamber Music Connects the World,” where she collaborated with artists such as Gidon Kremer, Tabea Zimmermann, Jörg Widmann and Christian Tetzlaff.

She studied with Igor Ozim and Esther Hoppe in Salzburg, with Donald Weilerstein, Ronald Copes and Li Lin at The Juilliard School in New York, and with Ulf Wallin at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. She completed further studies with Ana Chumachenco at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid and with Friedemann Eichhorn in Weimar, before concluding her education with Janine Jansen at HEMU Vaud-Valais in Sion.

Driven by a deep commitment to sharing music, Sanne Heaven won the 2026 Concerto Competition at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and has performed at the Wigmore Hall for two consecutive years. Recognized with the Gemma Sharp Memorial Award for giving the greatest service and contribution to the RWCMD in the academic year of 2023/2024, Sanne graduated with a BMus (Hons) First Class in violin performance under the tutelage of David Adams.

Sanne is from British Columbia, Canada, where she began violin lessons at age four and has always wanted to spread the gift of music through performing. Alongside this, she has a passion for music education which grew during her time working at the El-Sistema based Bakerview Music Academy.

During her time at RWC Sanne led various projects including RWCMD Symphony Orchestra, and String Soloist performances with Pieter Wispelwey, Jacob Shaw and Roberts Balanas. Most recently, she was concertmaster for the String Soloist project performing Transfigured Night with conductor Vincent de Kort. She received masterclasses from artists such as James Ehnes, London Haydn Quartet, Fibonacci Quartet, Rachel Podger, Alice Neary and Lucy Gould. In 2024, Sanne successfully auditioned for and completed a placement with the BBC NOW. She has also been a part of side-by-side symphony projects with the WNO.

Sanne is grateful for the support of many sponsors including Ingles & Hayday, who, in addition to supporting Sanne’s tuition, have loaned her a violin by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume. Sanne is honored to have been offered a place in David Takeno’s class to study for a Master of Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on a scholarship commencing in September. She is also very thankful to the Munster Trust for their financial assistance towards her postgraduate studies.
