Notable Sales: Paul Clément Jombar
Born in 1868, Jombar was a pupil of Nestor Audinot in Paris from 1882 to 1886. He then worked for Gand & Bernardel before establishing himself independently in 1892 at 20 rue Rochechouart, later at 27 rue de Faubourg Poissonière and finally at 37 rue de Rome. In 1901 he was made Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur. He made both bows and violins, using classical models in a very clean and professional style.
