Notable Sales: François Peccatte
Younger brother of Dominique, François Peccatte was born in Mirecourt in 1821. At the age of about twenty, he moved to Paris to join Dominique, and possibly worked briefly for Joseph René Lafleur before returning to Mirecourt to open his own business. This became a large and productive shop, but François returned briefly to Paris to work for Vuillaume in 1852-3, but died in 1855, aged only 34.
Bows are branded Peccatte, occasionally with Paris branded on the opposite side.
