Vincenzo Sannino

Born in Naples in 1879, Sannino was a violinist and self-taught maker. Acting as a translator for Walter Hamma during his business trips to Italy, he became familiar with wider aspects of the craft and established himself in Rome in 1914. His working style is very much in the Neapolitan manner, but he produced copies of various makers of other schools. He was very prolific and successful in his time.
