Franco Albanelli

Franco Albanelli was born in Castel San Pietro Terme, Emilia Romana, in 1933 He trained as a violin maker in the workshop of Pollastri alongside Otello Bignami in Bologna. He was awarded a gold medal at Bagnacavallo, but his own labelled work is comparatively rare. He died in San Lazzaro di Savena in 2007.
