The son and pupil of Giovanni Cavani, Vincenzo was born in Spilamberto in 1889, where he died in 1973. Active from as early as 1900, he gained some experience with Leandro Bisiach. He worked to various classical models, with some modelled on Pietro Guarneri of Mantua, and bearing certain decorative elements.
