Born in Mirecourt in 1821, Darche worked for N.F. Vuillaume in Brussels, establishing his iown shop in the city in 1845. A copyist of classical Cremonese work, Darche exhibited a quartet in Much in 1854, and was known also as a restorer. He died in Brussels in 1874.
