Hans-Karl Schmidt

Bowmaker in Dresden. Born in Erlbach in 1940, he was apprenticed to Kurt Dölling in Erlbach between 1955 and 1958, subsequently joining Emil Kühnel in Bubenreuth, and Siegfried Finkel in Brienz, before returning to Erlbach to join Kurt Dölling. He established his own shop in Dreden in 1974. His work is based on Voirin, Tourte and Knopf models.
