Giorgio Scolari

Giorgio Scolari was born in 1952 and studied at the international School of Violin Making in Cremona, working with Pietro Sgarabotto and Gio Batta Morassi. In 1973 he became a teacher there himself, and  1976 he opened his own workshop with his brother Daniele. He makes all forms of bowed and fretted instruments, and has participated in many competitions both as entrant and judge.
