Known as ‘Vigneron fils’ to distinguish him from his father Joseph Arthur, André was born in 1881in Mirecourt, where he died in 1924. He succeeded his father at his Paris shop in 1905, and continued to use his brand until about 1910, when he introduced his own stamp André Vigneron à Paris. Each bow is numbered beneath the frog. He was assisted by Auguste Husson and Marie-Louis Piernot. Bows typically have a round stick, of deep red or orange brown colour.
